Abbey in the Philippines: Sister Abbey Hafen // Week Sixty-Seven // "Blessings!"

Another week here in GAMU, full of lots of good, good things. Sometimes it's hard to see the blessings pouring out from heaven when you're focused on yourself- i think me and my companion experiecned that this week! But as i sit here and review the week, we really saw and received so many blessings.

blessing #1-
FHE at a less actives house, and our fellowshippers all came and translated into their native dialect- they were so responsive and we laughed and had such a good time!!

#2- our investigator Kris had the most beautiful questions in our lesson. She is truly seeking the truth!

#3- our best friend here in the mission, sister miller, went home this morning because of the deadly Dengue Fever. Me, sister bates and sister lange all got to go to the mission home last night to be with her and send her off. we just got to talk and hang out. It made me realize the end is coming, and that i realy am not ready or wanting it yet. it was a good wake up call for me. Her going home is a blessing- we are praying her body will heal there and she will be back in good health.

#4- my companion. i wrote to my mission president earlier and said "she's so christ like, it kills me!" i can't wait until you all meet her in the celestial kingdom

and so many more..... it was such a great week. Family Day in Burgos was so fun, we laughed and laughed and laughed SO HARD and really enjoyed ourselves. I love my family and was reminded of that great blessing i have this week, and every day of course.
